New in 2011, the Smooth V380 Upright Bike is durable and comfortable with a striking black frame, ergonomic handlebars, and 16 exercise programs.
This exercise bike has a wide comfortable seat and an easy-to-read and adjustable LCD display that provides workout feedback for time, distance, RPM, speed, program profile, calories, resistance level, and pulse rate.

UPDATE: The V380 is no longer available. Check out the latest Smooth exercise bikes here to compare the new models.
The Smooth V380 Upright Bike features 16 exercise programs including 4 heart rate control workouts, manual, 6 presets, 4 custom, and a body fat test. The integrated heart rate monitor shows your pulse rate effort during exercise, and works with the HRC programs to keep you in the correct training zone.
Other features on the bike include self-leveling pedals, adjustable pedal straps, a smooth flywheel with silent magnetic resistance, transport wheels, and a welded steel frame.
Exercise bikes from Smooth Fitness have an industry-leading warranty that is worth to notice: lifetime on the frame, 3 years on parts and 1-year labor. If you are familiar with the reliability and popularity of Smooth Fitness treadmills and ellipticals, then you can expect the exercise bike line, which debuted in 2011, to also be of superior quality.
While the early reviews on the new Smooth V380 upright have been good, there is tough competition at this price level from Lifespan, Kettler, and Sole.
Smooth Fitness has a quality bike here in terms of components, but it isn’t the most attractive exercise bike on the market. We suggest you compare the Lifespan C3 Upright at $799 head-to-head against the higher priced Smooth V380 Upright Bike at $899 and see which one you like better.
The Lifespan offers a few more features for $100 less.
